About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy provider, dedicated to powering the lives of 1.8 billion people without reliable electricity across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Store Executive to join our expanding team in Kaltungo, Gombe State, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure our retail and service center operates seamlessly, meeting all performance, inventory, and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end inventory control, including receiving stock from the warehouse, issuing stock using FIFO standards, and maintaining accurate online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs.
- Conduct daily cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and maintain up-to-date stock cards while managing spare parts inventory and re-orders.
- Prepare comprehensive daily reports on stock availability, issues, and replacements for key stakeholders.
- Perform basic technical checks and minor repairs on in-warranty returns, manage repair tools, and oversee faulty stock consolidation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, ensuring proper SKU arrangement on the shop floor and repair workbench.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming walk-in clients, assessing warranty eligibility, and collaborating with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve queries.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy with solid working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Display high levels of integrity, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude as a collaborative team player.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local knowledge of the Kaltungo territory will be distinct advantages.
