About the Role
Sun King is the largest off-grid solar energy provider in Africa and Asia, dedicated to powering millions of lives with reliable and affordable clean energy. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store Executive to join our expanding team in Imo, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will be the anchor of our local operations, ensuring seamless inventory management, maintaining high store standards, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting our field teams.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage inventory from the warehouse following FIFO standards and update stock cards accordingly.
- Maintain accurate online logs for Goods Received and Goods Issued while performing daily cycle counts and monthly stock takes.
- Handle spare parts inventory, re-orders, and consolidate faulty stock for proper disposal.
- Prepare daily stock-on-hand reports and track items issued for replacement or replenishment.
- Conduct basic technical checks and authorized repairs on in-warranty returns while maintaining repair tools and work-bench safety.
- Keep the store and repair workbench organized, tidy, and arranged neatly by SKU.
- Welcome walk-in customers, assist Energy Officers, and collaborate with the call center to resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related operational role.
- Strong computer literacy, including working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mentality.
- Demonstrated integrity, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local knowledge of the Imo territory will be distinct advantages.
