About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, powering over 82 million lives across Africa and Asia. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Store Executive to join our growing team in Funakaye, Gombe State. In this vital role, you will oversee daily store operations, inventory management, customer service, and basic product repairs to ensure we continuously deliver exceptional service to our off-grid customers.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage inventory from the warehouse, ensuring adherence to FIFO standards and updating stock cards.
- Perform daily cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and maintain updated online logs for Goods Received and Goods Issued.
- Prepare accurate daily stock-on-hand reports and document all issued stock for replacement and replenishment.
- Take custody of repair tool kits, conduct basic diagnostic checks on faulty units, and perform in-warranty repairs.
- Receive faulty components, verify warranty eligibility, and manage spare parts inventory and re-orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized shop floor arranged by SKU and ensure a safe, tidy repair workbench.
- Welcome walk-in customers, provide stellar assistance, and coordinate with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve queries.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of integrity, a proactive attitude, and strong customer focus.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge of Gombe State are distinct advantages.
