About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing innovative and affordable power to over 82 million people across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Store Executive to join our team in Benin, Edo State. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage inventory, handle basic product repairs, and provide top-notch support to our customers and field teams, contributing directly to our mission of powering brighter lives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory by receiving stock, dispatching items using FIFO standards, and updating stock cards and online logs.
- Perform daily cycle counts and conduct comprehensive monthly stock takes.
- Receive faulty stock, consolidate items for disposal, and manage spare parts inventory and re-orders.
- Prepare accurate daily stock and issuance reports for internal stakeholders.
- Handle repair and spare parts management, maintain repair toolkits, and conduct basic repairs on in-warranty returns.
- Maintain a clean, organized store and workbench while strictly adhering to safety procedures.
- Welcome walk-in customers, assist Energy Officers, and coordinate with the call center to resolve customer inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- High level of integrity, flexibility, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge in Benin will be an added advantage.
