About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is currently recruiting a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Storekeeper to manage, organize, and maintain accurate inventory of technical materials, spare parts, and maintenance items within a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Nigeria. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation in electrical or electronics engineering, enabling them to correctly identify, catalogue, and issue critical industrial components to maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, record, and securely store all incoming technical materials, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
- Maintain high-accuracy inventory records, monitor stock levels, and flag items that require replenishment.
- Issue electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance materials strictly based on authorized internal requests.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and accurately reconcile discrepancies with digital inventory logs.
- Identify and promptly report low stock levels, damaged shipments, or obsolete inventory items.
- Ensure the warehouse and storage areas are impeccably organized, clearly labeled, and maintained to safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with factory maintenance teams to rapidly identify and locate required spare parts.
- Update and maintain digital stock records utilizing Microsoft Excel and enterprise inventory software.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on industrial storekeeping or inventory control experience.
- Prior working experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or pharmaceutical industries is highly preferred.
- Solid foundational knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance components.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize common industrial spare parts and interpret basic technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with prior experience using ERP or computerized inventory management systems being a distinct advantage.
