About the Role
The Choice Sanitary Wares Nigeria is a premier limited liability company recognized as a leader in the building and plumbing materials industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Officer to join our dynamic team and maintain the highest standards of inventory management across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, invoices, and waybills.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse layout categorized by product specifications.
- Process and monitor stock issues, transfers, and returns using proper authorized documentation.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and periodic physical stock counts to reconcile with system records.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts, identify slow-moving items, and minimize wastage or theft.
- Maintain accurate documentation, bin cards, and stock books for auditing and tracking purposes.
- Supervise loading and offloading processes while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Submit comprehensive periodic reports on stock availability, discrepancies, and warehouse conditions.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor Degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience in stock control, warehouse operations, or the building materials industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong numerical aptitude, high attention to detail, and excellent record-keeping abilities.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations and inventory management software.
