We are currently seeking a proactive and analytical Stock and Inventory Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining supply chain integrity by ensuring our inventory records are accurate, stock movements are seamlessly tracked, and inventory control procedures are strictly implemented. Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using advanced software and manual systems.
- Track daily stock movement, receipts, internal transfers, and customer dispatches.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and perform thorough reconciliations.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies, losses, damages, and shortages promptly.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and overall organization of inventory within the warehouse.
- Monitor stock thresholds and coordinate timely replenishment with relevant departments.
- Prepare comprehensive regular inventory, audit, and stock movement reports.
- Implement and enforce effective inventory control procedures and company stock policies.
- Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven relevant experience in stock or inventory management.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to spot variances quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management software systems.
