OPay Digital Services Limited is seeking a dynamic and bilingual Chinese-English Language & User Research Specialist to join our innovative team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting product localization, bridging cross-cultural communication gaps, and uncovering valuable insights to enhance our mobile money platform. Key Responsibilities- Translate, adapt, and meticulously review product and user-facing content in both Chinese and English.
- Provide accurate interpretation during meetings, workshops, stakeholder discussions, and research sessions.
- Assist in conducting user interviews, focus groups, field visits, and observational studies across Nigeria.
- Coordinate fieldwork logistics, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and session arrangements.
- Document comprehensive user feedback, organize research notes, and summarize actionable findings for product teams.
- Foster seamless collaboration between Chinese-speaking product teams and local Nigerian operational stakeholders.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Exceptional communication, active listening, observation, and documentation skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in standard office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and spreadsheets.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for field research in Lagos and other regions of Nigeria when required.
- Open to recent graduates, early-career professionals, final-year students, and internship candidates.
- Prior exposure to fintech, digital payments, market research, or cross-cultural team environments is an advantage.
