About the Role
PoweredUp Consulting is a fully indigenous organization focused on organizational enrichment through human resources, coaching, and strategic operational support. We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Stock & Inventory Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all inventory operations, optimizing stock control procedures, and ensuring seamless supply chain workflows to support our overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain accurate daily inventory records across all storage facilities.
- Track stock movement, receipts, transfers, and dispatches meticulously.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Identify stock discrepancies, losses, damages, and shortages immediately to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory for easy retrieval.
- Monitor minimum stock thresholds and coordinate timely replenishment with vendors.
- Prepare comprehensive regular inventory, valuation, and stock status reports for management.
- Implement effective inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and operational waste.
- Ensure strict compliance with company stock management policies and safety standards.
- Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven relevant experience in stock or inventory management roles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern computerized inventory management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex stock discrepancies.
