About the Role
Filmhouse Cinemas Limited, a dynamic film exhibition company specializing in cinema operations, consultancy, and film distribution, is recruiting a Stock Controller. You will be responsible for comprehensive stock and inventory management, ensuring operational efficiency across our cinema sites.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare purchase orders, receive, store, and issue goods while managing stock levels and supplies
- Maintain detailed stock records using computerized systems (Odoo and Vista) and verify invoices against purchase orders
- Conduct daily physical stock counts and compile weekly and monthly inventory reports
- Ensure goods are organized systematically for easy retrieval and maintain proper warehouse conditions
- Perform regular stock-taking and coordinate with designated staff members
- Inspect received items for quality, correct quantities, and specifications per purchase orders
- Establish monitoring measures to prevent overstocking, aged stock, and stock-outs
- Source third-party alternatives locally during supply failures
- Manage stock documentation and communicate updates to the Support Office Team via One-drive
- Review daily audit reports to monitor user activities and investigate transaction irregularities
- Minimum HND or Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and practices
- Must reside in Ilorin (accommodation not provided)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and peak periods
