Key Responsibilities- Cooperate with the main operator to monitor the rolling process, operate the guide, handle steel deviation and pile accidents, assist in measuring plate shape and size, and execute roll change assistance.
- Execute auxiliary operations including operating the head and tail cutting machine, flying cutting machine, cold bed feeding roller conveyor, and steel turning machine.
- Complete steel plate cutting, turning, and safe transportation to the cold bed or collection area.
- Perform quality initial inspections and provide feedback through visual inspection of steel plate surface defects such as cracks, scratches, and oxidized iron skin pressing.
- Conduct overview checks on plate shape and size, ensuring immediate stoppage, recording, and feedback when abnormal conditions occur.
- Adhere strictly to post safety regulations to prevent high-temperature burns and mechanical entanglement.
- Carry out pre-shift equipment inspections covering roller rotation, lubrication, and guide rail conditions, and record shift handovers accurately.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), vocational training certificate, or relevant technical qualification.
- Proven working experience as a steel worker, plant operative, or in a similar industrial manufacturing role.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and equipment inspection procedures.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a demanding, high-temperature plant environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong visual inspection and basic quality control skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate abnormal conditions clearly.
