About the Role
Power Ark Infrastructure Ltd is a leading provider of end-to-end photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage solutions, dedicated to closing the energy gap across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar PV & BESS Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria and help us deliver reliable, sustainable energy to mining operations, commercial enterprises, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of commercial and utility-scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Perform detailed troubleshooting, performance optimization, and maintenance of megawatt-scale (1MW+) solar infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project management and construction teams to ensure adherence to safety standards, design specifications, and timelines.
- Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and supervise on-site electrical installation works.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, engineering best practices, and health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience in solar PV and commercial-scale BESS projects.
- Proven track record of working on megawatt-scale (1MW and above) solar installations.
- Strong practical expertise in system troubleshooting, electrical schematics, and project commissioning.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strict commitment to workplace safety standards.
