About the Role
Nepal Energy, a leading name in the importation, warehousing, and nationwide distribution of premium petroleum products, is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Station Supervisor for our retail outlet in Osun State. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for excellence by ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, upholding stringent safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service to meet the growing demands of the Nigerian energy market.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Station Manager in overseeing daily retail operations and ensure standard opening and closing procedures are strictly followed.
- Supervise shift personnel, including Pump Attendants and Cashiers, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing on-the-job coaching.
- Monitor fuel and non-fuel sales daily, resolve customer inquiries promptly, and drive team efforts toward achieving station targets.
- Conduct routine inventory checks, assist with stock reconciliation, and immediately report any shortages or variances.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) compliance, ensuring firefighting equipment is functional and safety hazards are mitigated.
- Prepare and submit accurate shift reports, document maintenance issues, and maintain comprehensive operational records.
- Assume full operational responsibility for the station in the absence of the Station Manager, ensuring uninterrupted business continuity.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of proven supervisory experience within the downstream petroleum sector, retail station management, or fast-paced customer service environments.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HSSE standards, stock reconciliation, and retail point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- High level of integrity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in Osun State.
