About the Role
Nepal Energy, a leading name in the importation, warehousing, and distribution of petroleum products in Nigeria, is seeking a results-driven and proactive Station Supervisor for our retail outlet located on Upper Sakponba Road, Benin, Edo State. In this vital role, you will support the Station Manager in maintaining seamless daily operations, driving sales targets, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily station activities, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
- Oversee and coordinate pump attendants, cashiers, and shift personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Monitor fuel and non-fuel sales, assist with daily inventory reconciliation, and promptly report stock variances.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) compliance by conducting routine inspections and promoting a safe workspace.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and ensure prompt, courteous service is delivered consistently.
- Prepare accurate shift reports, document equipment faults, and escalate critical operational issues to management.
- Assume full leadership responsibilities and make authorized operational decisions in the absence of the Station Manager.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- 1 to 5 years of proven experience in petroleum retail, station supervision, inventory management, or customer service operations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage, coach, and motivate shift personnel.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Good working knowledge of HSSE standards within the downstream oil and gas sector.
- Residency in or proximity to Benin City, Edo State, is highly advantageous.
