About the Role
Nepal Energy, a renowned leader in the importation, warehousing, and distribution of petroleum products in Nigeria, is seeking a meticulous and trustworthy Station Cashier to join our retail operations in Edo State. In this vital role, you will be the face of our financial transactions, ensuring that every customer payment for fuel, lubricants, and services is handled with absolute precision, speed, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process payments accurately via cash, POS terminals, bank transfers, and other approved methods
- Perform thorough end-of-shift sales reconciliations, matching cash collections with digital transaction records
- Prepare detailed and accurate daily cashier reports while promptly reporting any discrepancies to the Station Manager
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing payment inquiries courteously and resolving minor disputes professionally
- Safeguard company funds, adhere strictly to financial control procedures, and prevent unauthorized credits or discounts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workstation while observing all filling station safety protocols
- Possession of an HND or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 1 to 5 years of proven work experience as a cashier, teller, or in a similar financial record-keeping role
- Strong numerical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail and zero-tolerance for cash shortages
- Proficiency in operating POS terminals and basic digital payment systems
- High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality
