About the Role
Aldelia Limited is a leading Oil & Gas recruitment specialist with a proven track record of delivering specialized services across key strategic regions globally. We are seeking an experienced Static Equipment Engineer to join our team and support major Oil & Gas operators on complex projects.
As a Static Equipment Engineer, you will take ownership of designing and reviewing critical static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, and associated piping systems. You will supervise piping system design, validate valve selections, review comprehensive vendor documentation, and provide technical support throughout the entire engineering, construction, and commissioning lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, specify, and review static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, and piping systems
- Supervise piping system design and verify valve selection based on process parameters
- Prepare and review equipment specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables
- Review vendor documents and provide technical guidance during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and other applicable industry standards and codes
- Participate actively in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and Management of Change (MOC) activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to resolve complex technical challenges
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 15 years' professional experience in Static Equipment Engineering within Oil & Gas industry
- Demonstrated experience on both offshore and onshore facilities
- Strong expertise in piping systems, valve selection, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and columns
- Proven track record supporting FEED, EPC, EPIC, or Brownfield projects
- COREN registration or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of ASME, API, and HSE standards and best practices
