About the Role

Ace Strategy & Consults is a dynamic organization dedicated to disrupting conventional thinking and building systems that tackle root causes of health and social inequities. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven State Coordinator to lead subnational program implementation, stakeholder engagement, and performance monitoring across assigned states in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in translating workplans into actionable deliverables, coordinating local partners, and ensuring the successful execution of high-impact public health and development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day state-level program implementation, ensuring activities align with approved workplans and timelines.
  • Monitor program performance, track milestones, and identify operational bottlenecks for prompt resolution and escalation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement with state government institutions, health facilities, and community partners, maintaining accurate records.
  • Compile, review, and manage program implementation data to ensure quality reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive routine updates, field visit reports, meeting minutes, and contributions for donor and management reviews.
  • Identify implementation risks, maintain risk and issue trackers, and collaborate with team members on mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in program implementation, project coordination, or health systems strengthening.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with government institutions, development partners, and subnational stakeholders in Nigeria.
  • Fluency in English and Yoruba, with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital data collection tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned state for field activities and facility monitoring.
