About the Role
Palladium is a global leader dedicated to designing, developing, and delivering Positive Impact, creating enduring social and economic value alongside governments, businesses, and investors. We are currently seeking detail-oriented and resident professionals to join our Propcom+ programme as State-Based Monitoring and Research Assistants (MRAs). Openings are available in Jigawa, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Taraba, Yobe, Oyo, and Ekiti states, with up to two candidates recruited per state to support critical data collection, verification, and research-related assignments on a call-down basis from September 2026 to March 2027.
Key Responsibilities- Review programme information, intervention decks, implementation updates, and related Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) frameworks.
- Participate in onboarding and supplementary training to fully understand programme objectives and MERL requirements.
- Conduct rigorous data validation, verification activities, and spot checks via in-person field visits to verify partner-submitted datasets.
- Support primary data collection during commissioned studies, surveys, and market assessments for input and produce prices.
- Attend relevant programme events, stakeholder meetings, and activities within the assigned state of residence.
- Submit comprehensive activity-based reports and month-end reports along with verifiable means of verification such as photographs and attendance sheets.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any agricultural discipline, social sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strong primary data collection skills and field research experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, validation checks, and preliminary pivot table analysis.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word for drafting professional activity and monthly reports.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in both English and the predominant local languages of the assigned state.
- Ownership of a functional laptop and an Android mobile phone for field data collection.
