We are currently looking for a dedicated Standby Technician to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing reliable technical support, monitoring equipment performance, and swiftly resolving technical faults to guarantee seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor equipment and critical systems continuously to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across all designated machinery.
- Diagnose technical faults rapidly and troubleshoot complex equipment breakdowns.
- Respond promptly to operational emergencies and unexpected equipment failures.
- Inspect infrastructure regularly to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause downtime.
- Execute necessary repairs, component replacements, and mechanical or electrical adjustments.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of all maintenance activities, identified faults, and completed repairs.
- Ensure tools and safety equipment are properly maintained, organized, and ready for deployment.
- Adhere strictly to organizational safety protocols, industry guidelines, and technical standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and operations teams to minimize system downtime.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in technical support, equipment maintenance, or facility repairs.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to work efficiently under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work on shifts, weekends, and extended hours as operational demands require.
