About the Role
Scruples Resources, a premier consultancy and human resource development firm in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cost Estimating Lead III to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will provide direct oversight for cost estimate preparation, lead quality assurance reviews for gate and funding milestones, and coordinate check estimates to support successful project delivery across the Nigerian economy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews for company-operated and other builder operator estimates.
- Coordinate the preparation of check estimates and schedules to compare with operator-prepared submittals and conduct thorough project cost and schedule assessments.
- Collaborate with the project management team to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of project work.
- Attend project meetings and discussions with the project management team and external clients.
- Perform monthly project costing and reporting for management review to ensure expenditures remain within budget.
- Provide expert cost control and planning advice to internal teams as required.
- Offer leadership and consulting to the estimating supervisor to improve estimating group processes, efficiency tools, and quality assurance reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is strictly required.
- Extensive professional experience in a closely related position, specifically within cost and schedule estimating.
- Strong technical expertise in project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.
