About the Role
The Dangote Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our dynamic team at the DSR Numan Plant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings, layouts, and engineering documentation to support our extensive manufacturing, maintenance, and construction operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and engineering schematics using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software.
- Review and revise engineering drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance with approved specifications, and integration of project modifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify design requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site measurements and inspections to ensure drawings accurately reflect existing plant conditions.
- Maintain secure, up-to-date records, version control, and proper filing of all engineering documentation.
- Incorporate safety requirements and comply with applicable HSE standards within all assigned drafting tasks.
- HND or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering drafting experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CADD software.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong collaboration skills.
