About the Role
Ernst and Young (EY) is seeking a dedicated and analytical Staff member for our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) - Transfer Pricing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will help build a better working world by delivering quality tax advisory, documentation, and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of leading multinational clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the accurate filing of transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting related obligations in compliance with Nigerian tax regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive transfer pricing documentation reports, including Master Files and Local Files, aligning with OECD guidelines.
- Conduct thorough economic, functional, and industry analyses to support client transfer pricing positions.
- Perform detailed benchmarking and comparability studies using specialized financial databases and research tools.
- Support senior team members in managing transfer pricing audits, controversy matters, and advisory projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and finance departments.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes in local tax laws and international transfer pricing practices.
- Mentor graduate trainees and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the tax practice.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field with a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on professional experience in transfer pricing.
- Strong working knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and Nigerian transfer pricing regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, research, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
