About the Role
Appzone Limited is a pioneering force in Africa's financial technology sector, dedicated to transforming banking and payment automation across emerging markets through world-class software solutions like Qore and BankOne. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Specialist, Product Management (Manager) to join our innovative team in Nigeria and help scale our suite of financial products.Key Responsibilities- Lead and drive product development through scrum teams by writing user stories, prioritizing backlogs, and coordinating release activities.
- Manage the comprehensive product roadmap for Qore and ancillary services to deliver market-leading functionality.
- Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand consumer needs and identify new product opportunities.
- Assess the impact of new features across the entire Product Operating Model, including legal, data protection, and client onboarding.
- Maintain and improve client-facing assets such as documentation, developer sites, and contracts as new features evolve.
- BSc degree in any discipline from a reputable institution, with UI/UX design skills as an added advantage.
- 5+ years of proven experience in B2B product development and management within the fintech, banking, or payments sector.
- Strong working knowledge of agile product development methodologies, lean frameworks, and design thinking.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA and Adobe Analytics, with a solid grasp of the product lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
