We are currently looking for a talented Specialist, Carrier IP & Wholesale Networks to drive the evolution of our carrier-grade IP, Metro Ethernet, and wholesale network infrastructure to support our nationwide growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and optimize Ntel's Carrier IP infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and robust security across the network.
  • Lead the engineering and delivery of Layer 2 and Layer 3 wholesale services, Metro Ethernet, enterprise connectivity, and Internet transit services.
  • Serve as the technical owner for the IP components of Project NOVA, overseeing Tarana aggregation network design, IP addressing strategies, and QoS requirements.
  • Integrate Carrier IP infrastructure with active networks, core networks, data centres, and national roaming architectures.
  • Manage data centre connectivity, BGP routing policies, internet exchange connectivity, and peering relationships.
  • Mentor junior IP engineers, develop rigorous engineering standards, and promote best practices across the engineering team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in carrier IP, transport networks, or enterprise networking environments.
  • Advanced professional networking certifications (such as Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei credentials) are highly desirable.
  • Extensive expertise in IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, QoS, VLANs, and Carrier Ethernet technologies.
  • Proven track record of supporting carrier-grade broadband, ISP interconnections, and data centre networking.
