About the Role
Brint School is an innovative online educational platform dedicated to creating a personalized learning experience for African children living in the diaspora. Our team is composed of talented educators who work collaboratively to enhance each child’s knowledge, mastery, and proficiency across various subjects. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Tutor - Sciences to join our growing team and empower students with diverse learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, customized online science lessons tailored to the unique learning styles of children with special educational needs.
- Adapt standard curricula and teaching methods to accommodate individual learning paces and educational goals.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain open communication with parents regarding academic development.
- Foster a supportive, patient, and inclusive virtual learning environment that builds student confidence and enthusiasm for science.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to continuously improve personalized learning strategies.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of formal teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in a virtual or specialized learning environment.
- Proven professional experience working directly with children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Exceptional patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for inclusive education and helping learners achieve academic milestones.
