Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Mentor students and instill core moral and ethical values aligned with the school ethos.
- Minimum of an NCE qualification or a relevant degree in English Language, Education, or a related subject area.
- Mandatory possession of an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is an added advantage.
