Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique learning needs and abilities of each student.
- Deliver specialized one-on-one and small group instruction to support cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Adapt standard curriculum materials and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and exceptionalities.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, school administrators, and parents to monitor student progress.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student confidence and independence.
- Assess and document student growth regularly, adjusting intervention strategies and learning targets as necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Inclusive Education, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working as a Special Needs Teacher or shadow educator in a recognized school setting.
- Deep understanding of various learning disabilities, developmental delays, and evidence-based intervention techniques.
- Exceptional patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
- Valid certification or teaching license with relevant regulatory bodies in Nigeria is an added advantage.
