About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Year 2 Class Teacher with a strong Mathematics specialization to inspire young minds and foster a love for learning in our lower primary section.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics and core subject lessons tailored to Year 2 students using a blend of the British and Nigerian curricula.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages active student participation and effective behaviour management.
- Assess, monitor, and record student academic progress, providing constructive feedback to students and regular updates to parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance school activities, curriculum development, and extracurricular programs.
- Must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Mathematics or a related field.
- Must be Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certified.
- Must have at least 2-3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable school, preferably within the lower primary section.
- Must be thoroughly proficient in both the British and Nigerian educational curricula.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with exceptional classroom management abilities.
- Must be computer literate and comfortable utilizing educational technology in daily instruction.
