We are currently seeking a passionate, skilled, and empathetic Special Educator to join our dynamic team and make a lasting impact in the lives of our exceptional students. In this role, you will design and implement customized learning programs that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring every child thrives in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student with developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with therapists and support staff to integrate behavioral and developmental therapies into daily classroom activities.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and social interaction.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, maintaining detailed and accurate records of academic and developmental milestones.
- Maintain open and supportive communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and strategies for home support.
- Possess a degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated professional experience working with children with special needs and developmental disabilities.
- Strong patience, empathy, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methodologies to suit diverse learning capabilities.
- Valid certification or professional teaching license is an added advantage.
