We are currently looking for a vibrant and academically driven professional to join our faculty as a Graduate Assistant specializing in the Igbo Language. Key Responsibilities- Assist senior academic staff in the preparation of lecture materials, tutorials, and lesson plans for Igbo language courses.
- Conduct tutorial sessions, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to students under the guidance of lead faculty members.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and academic committee activities as assigned.
- Engage in foundational research and contribute to scholarly publications within the field of Igbo language and linguistics.
- Provide administrative and academic support to the department to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor degree with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division in Igbo Language from a recognized university.
- Must possess a valid NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate.
- Demonstrated strong passion for teaching, academic research, and student mentorship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Igbo.
