About the Role
GMT Securities & Asset Management Limited, a premier Nigerian financial services and SEC-registered investment advisory and stockbroking firm, is seeking a dynamic and highly capable Special Assistant to the Group Managing Director. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted extension of the GMD, managing strategic communications, coordinating executive schedules, and driving high-impact corporate initiatives to support our continued market leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and prioritize the Group Managing Director's schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements with absolute discretion.
- Synthesize complex financial reports, market research, and business proposals to facilitate prompt and informed executive decision-making.
- Act as the primary liaison between the GMD's office and internal department heads, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate executive meetings, prepare detailed agendas, and document accurate minutes of proceedings and action items.
- Oversee special projects and strategic assignments delegated by the GMD, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Possession of a B.Sc, MBA, CIS (Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers), or PhD in finance, economics, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience in a similar executive support or financial advisory role within the Nigerian financial sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation capabilities.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian capital market, investment advisory, and stockbroking regulatory frameworks.
