About the Role
The Elevation Church is dedicated to developing individuals to achieve greatness while positively impacting communities. We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Sound Engineer to join our dynamic audio production team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional audio experiences for our physical and remote congregation, ensuring every service and event resonates with clarity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide top-tier sound technical support at all church programs, services, and rehearsals.
- Operate sound mixing consoles to balance, mix, and record voices, instruments, and live performances.
- Manage the setup, testing, and teardown of audio equipment for both in-house and remote events.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all music gear, audio equipment, and consumables.
- Inspect equipment regularly, report faults promptly, and coordinate maintenance with the facilities unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and train volunteer audio technicians to uphold ministry standards.
- Uphold the core values of The Elevation Church while performing assigned audio duties.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in live sound engineering.
- Relevant training or certifications in music and sound management.
- Strong working knowledge of acoustics, electronics, transmission, and broadcasting.
- Proficiency in operating sound mixing consoles and audio editing software.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Good physical endurance, stress tolerance, and agility for equipment handling.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team orientation skills.
