About the Role
DM Holdings (DMH), a leading conglomerate in the entertainment and media sector, is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Broadcast Engineer / Audio / Visual Engineer to join our vibrant team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality audio and video productions across our various media subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, test, operate, and maintain broadcast equipment and systems including cameras, vision mixers, and audio consoles.
- Ensure all studio and broadcast infrastructure is properly connected, configured, and fully operational for daily transmissions.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, and calibration of broadcast equipment.
- Provide reliable technical support for live broadcasts, studio productions, recordings, and outside broadcast events.
- Monitor audio and video signals to ensure they consistently meet rigorous industry quality standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues swiftly during live productions to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all studio and technical equipment.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in broadcast engineering, studio engineering, or telecommunications.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with professional broadcast, live production, transmission, and streaming systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills covering audio, video, networking, and broadcast hardware.
- Relevant professional certifications in broadcast technology, networking, electronics, or related engineering fields are a distinct advantage.
