About the Role

Known for delivering accurate results at reasonable rates with quick turnaround times, we are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Sonologist/Sonographer to join our dynamic team at our facility in Awka, Anambra State. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, supporting accurate clinical diagnostics and ensuring the highest level of patient care in a modern medical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, and soft tissue scans.
- Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and clear communication to alleviate patient anxiety during procedures.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ultrasound equipment in strict accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images and provide precise preliminary findings as required by clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation within the facility's database.
- Adhere strictly to infection control, patient safety, and medical confidentiality protocols at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Degree or diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Ultrasonography, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license and current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria, such as the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Proven professional experience as a Sonologist or Sonographer within a reputable diagnostic center or hospital.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern ultrasound equipment and advanced imaging techniques.
