About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Pharmacist to join our dynamic Pharmacy Unit. In this role, you will play a critical part in our mission by ensuring the safe supply of quality medications, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, and optimizing patient treatment outcomes through expert counseling and clinical interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and dispense medications based on valid physician prescriptions while reviewing for appropriateness and potential interactions.
- Provide pharmaceutical care, including patient assessment, drug therapy monitoring, and patient education.
- Maintain an efficient pharmacy environment and accurate inventory records using automated inventory systems.
- Manage clinical risks, document patient education, and adhere to strict infection prevention and control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to research unusual symptoms and determine optimal treatment options.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, M.Pharm, or PharmD from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-NYSC progressive experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting.
- Valid and up-to-date practicing license issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in automated pharmacy inventory systems.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
