Key Responsibilities- Install solar panels, inverters, deep-cycle and lithium batteries, mounting structures, and associated electrical cabling.
- Execute complex electrical connections, systematic wiring, rigorous testing, and seamless system commissioning.
- Interpret and implement basic electrical and solar installation drawings, schematics, and technical instructions.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and assist project managers with identifying specific installation and resource requirements.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, reactive repairs, and scheduled routine maintenance on existing solar power systems.
- Ensure that all installations strictly comply with local and international health, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider project team to complete assignments within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), technical trade certificate, or relevant qualification in electrical engineering or renewable energy.
- Demonstrated professional experience ranging from 5 or more years in solar system installation, general electrical works, or EPC projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and specialized solar energy equipment.
- Proficiency in safely operating basic and advanced electrical and mechanical installation tools.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety protocols with the readiness to work in diverse on-site environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work productively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
