About the Role
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, a leader in multinational consumer goods, is looking for a dedicated Factory Technician to join our dynamic production environment. In this vital role, you will ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations by managing our industrial power supply systems and electrical infrastructure to support our globally recognized brands.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain gas and diesel generators to guarantee a reliable electrical power supply for continuous production.
- Manage, service, and troubleshoot Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical switchboards safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and operational checks on factory LV transformers to prevent downtime.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all assigned electrical equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimize operational disruptions across the facility.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience operating and maintaining industrial gas and diesel generators.
- Strong working knowledge of MV and LV electrical switchboards and factory LV transformers.
- Solid understanding of industrial safety protocols and electrical maintenance best practices.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing team.
