About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is hiring a dedicated Quality Control/Assurance Officer for our manufacturing sector client in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all raw materials, ongoing production processes, and finished polythene and polymer products consistently meet strict quality specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily production processes to ensure strict compliance with established quality specifications and industry requirements.
- Investigate quality issues thoroughly and collaborate with production teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure rejected or defective products are properly identified, segregated, and controlled to prevent distribution.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date quality inspection records and prepare comprehensive periodic quality reports for management.
- Support the implementation, review, and ongoing monitoring of updated quality control procedures across the plant.
- Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and manufacturing processes from a quality assurance perspective.
- Participate actively in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities to eliminate recurring production defects.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. Degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven, hands-on QC/QA experience specifically within polythene, polymer, nylon, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated practical experience testing and evaluating polythene and polymer products.
- Solid understanding of modern quality control procedures, laboratory testing, and industrial manufacturing workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with effective communication abilities.
