About the Role

LOPTERRA is looking for an ambitious, results-oriented, and commercially driven Solar Sales Manager to lead our solar sales efforts and accelerate business growth in Nigeria. You will serve as a key commercial representative, building strong relationships with customers, partners, and key decision-makers across the renewable energy sector while achieving ambitious revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Nigerian market for photovoltaic, energy storage, and new energy products.
  • Identify potential customers through field sales execution, including street promotions, cold visits, and retail store visits.
  • Support and maintain existing local dealer channels, ensuring proper product display and providing foundational sales training.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand needs, provide professional product recommendations, and ensure high-quality after-sales service.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and local policy updates, providing regular feedback to the management team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and logistics to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Qualifications
  • 4 to 7 years of offline sales experience in the solar energy, photovoltaic, energy storage, or new energy industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the Nigerian renewable energy market.
  • Strong face-to-face communication skills in English and proficiency in local languages including Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing high-end business accounts and managing strong sales pipelines.
  • High resilience for outdoor fieldwork and adaptability to non-office environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern business reporting tools.
