We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Software Engineer Instructor to join our dynamic academic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will shape the future of aspiring technologists by delivering high-quality, practical instruction in modern software development, full-stack engineering, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and train students on assigned IT and software engineering courses according to the Aptech curriculum.
- Provide engaging, hands-on training and real-world examples to enhance the practical learning experience.
- Offer continuous guidance, mentorship, and academic support to students throughout their learning journey.
- Create a motivating, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that inspires students to achieve their full potential.
- Regularly assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, coding projects, quizzes, and examinations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tech industry trends, tools, and methodologies, incorporating them into teaching materials.
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching, training, or equivalent industry experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in full-stack development tools and languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong competence in software development frameworks such as React, Spring, and Django.
- Familiarity with database administration tools including MS SQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning (AI-ML), and Data Science is a strong advantage.
