About the Role

We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our esteemed faculty in Ajao Estate, Isolo, Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Lagos State. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping young minds, fostering a deep appreciation for the sciences, and guiding students toward outstanding academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, detailed notes, and engaging instructional materials aligned with the approved school curriculum.
- Deliver stimulating classroom lessons that simplify complex biological concepts and encourage active student participation.
- Facilitate hands-on practical experiments and laboratory activities to reinforce theoretical knowledge and develop scientific inquiry skills.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive classroom environment conducive to effective learning and classroom management.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular academic activities as required.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree in Biology or a closely related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Proven experience in teaching Biology at the secondary school level within Nigeria.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order and engage students effectively.
- Excellent understanding of biological concepts, practical laboratory procedures, and scientific methodologies.
- Good commercial awareness, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Residency in or close proximity to Ajao Estate, Isolo, or surrounding areas in Lagos State is an added advantage.
