About the Role
JV Management Consulting, a leading indigenous Human Resource Management consulting firm, is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Teacher for our esteemed client. Located around the Toyin Bus Stop and Agbado axis in Lagos, this full-time role involves teaching English Language to students at the Junior Secondary School level. We are looking for an inspiring educator who can foster a positive learning environment, drive academic excellence, and help students build strong foundational communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English Language to Junior Secondary School students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging, interactive, and effective lesson plans to enhance student comprehension.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive and disciplined learning atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and regular academic reports.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations using proven pedagogical strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to support overall organizational growth and student success.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in English, Education, or a closely related discipline.
- Previous teaching experience within a secondary school environment is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school English Language curriculum.
