We are currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned Software Development Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will drive enterprise-level application lifecycle processes, ensuring optimal performance, minimal downtime, and alignment with industry best practices to support our mission of delivering operational excellence across the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end software development projects from initial strategic planning through seamless implementation.
  • Develop, integrate, maintain, and support robust enterprise applications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with established software development standards and application lifecycle processes.
  • Lead comprehensive application performance reviews, system upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support, user training, user acceptance testing, and reliable post-implementation assistance.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all software projects, operating procedures, technical processes, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal IT teams and external service providers to rapidly resolve application issues.
  • Guarantee minimal application downtime and secure, reliable access to critical business information.
  • Support the ongoing development and re-engineering of multiple software projects annually.
  • Promote strict HSE compliance and safe working practices across all technical operations.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in IS analysis, design, software development, and management within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Prior experience supporting E&P or Oil and Gas operations is highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of DBMS, Windows Server/Workstation environments, data management, and agile software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated strength in project management, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
