Cavista is seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of software products and engineering initiatives across multiple development teams. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, product development, delivery governance, and stakeholder management, ensuring that teams consistently deliver high-quality software solutions on time and in alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery of software products, features, and engineering initiatives across multiple distributed development teams.
- Drive planning, execution, monitoring, and successful release of software products throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Serve as the primary delivery point of contact between Product, Engineering, Business, and Executive stakeholders.
- Establish delivery metrics and reporting mechanisms, including velocity, release predictability, lead time, and quality indicators.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure software solutions meet architectural and quality standards.
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices, release management, and automation initiatives.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in a managerial or leadership role within software development.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional software development teams in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC governance, release management, and cloud-based development environments.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, manage operational issues, and handle ambiguous situations with professionalism.
