About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a leading full-service financial services group in Nigeria and part of the Standard Bank Group, is looking for a driven professional to join our team as a Digital Collections Team Lead. In this vital role, you will spearhead digital collections solutions, manage credit rehabilitation strategies, and oversee debt recovery within our call centre environment to drive optimal financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and control credit rehabilitation strategies within the call centre to maximize efficiency using advanced digital collections solutions.
- Supervise the collections sub-team to ensure all assigned pre-NPL and new-to-NPL accounts are handled effectively.
- Develop innovative digital solutions to address delinquency in pre-NPL and new-to-NPL portfolios.
- Monitor and manage the digital loans portfolio while ensuring strict adherence to statutory, regulatory, and internal bank policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the MISBS&R team and external vendors, to maximize debt recovery.
- Oversee collections and recovery actions on Non-Performing Loans and Written-Off accounts as required.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Commerce or a related numerate field from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional certifications will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience working in a bank collections and recoveries centre.
- Strong competencies in legal collections, cash flow analysis, risk awareness, and data interpretation.
