About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and school standards.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
  • Integrate Christian values and moral principles into daily classroom instruction and school activities.
  • Participate in curriculum development, staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular school events.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Social Studies Education or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with students and parents.
  • Strong classroom management skills with a patient and empathetic approach to student development.
