We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Social Studies Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will inspire students, foster critical thinking, and help cultivate informed and responsible citizens within a vibrant faith-based learning community.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and school standards.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Integrate Christian values and moral principles into daily classroom instruction and school activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular school events.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Social Studies Education or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with students and parents.
- Strong classroom management skills with a patient and empathetic approach to student development.
