Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the College of Medicine and Surgery.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate medical students using modern, technology-driven pedagogical methods.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research, including theses and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Engage in curriculum development, review, and implementation to meet NUC and global medical education standards.
- Participate in departmental, college, and university committee meetings and contribute to institutional growth.
- Engage in community service and mentor junior academic and clinical staff.
- Must possess a PhD or equivalent terminal medical fellowship qualification in the relevant discipline.
- At least ten (10) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated outstanding academic leadership with a substantial record of high-impact publications in reputable peer-reviewed outlets.
- Proven track record of significant postgraduate teaching, mentorship, and supervision.
- Candidates must hold recognized professional qualifications, current professional registration, and a valid practicing license.
- Demonstrated ICT proficiency with strong teaching, research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
