In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping students' analytical capabilities and preparing them for academic success at the senior secondary school level within a vibrant learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Further Mathematics effectively at the senior secondary school level.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students' advanced mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare students thoroughly for relevant internal and external examinations.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide appropriate, targeted support.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and practically.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning discipline.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education/Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience post-NYSC.
- Strong knowledge and practical teaching experience in Further Mathematics.
- Ability to teach advanced topics effectively at the senior secondary level.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational abilities.
- Must reside in Okota or its immediate environs.
