About the Role
Marilla Travels, an IATA-accredited travel agency based in Lekki, Lagos, is looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy Social Media Manager / Content Creator to join our growing team. Founded in 2017, we specialize in end-to-end travel management, including flight bookings, visa processing, vacation packages, luxury travel, and travel insurance. If you have a passion for storytelling, digital marketing, and the travel industry, we would love to have you on board to elevate our brand visibility across all social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage strategic social media campaigns to promote our travel services, vacation packages, and luxury offerings.
- Create engaging, high-quality, and visually appealing multimedia content including photos, videos, and graphics for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activities to optimize content performance and audience engagement.
- Manage community interactions by responding to comments, direct messages, and inquiries promptly to maintain a positive brand reputation.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align social media efforts with business goals and promotional campaigns.
- Analyze and report on social media metrics using analytics tools to measure campaign success and ROI.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience as a Social Media Manager or Content Creator, preferably within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
- Highly tech-savvy with a strong working knowledge of social media management tools, graphic design software, and video editing apps.
- Exceptional copywriting, editing, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Must reside on Lagos Island or within close proximity to Ologolo, Lekki for seamless daily commuting.
