About the Role
NerdzFactory Company is a fast-growing human capital and technology organization based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and Community Management (NYSC) Intern to support the growth and engagement of BizGrowthAfrica (BGA), our Pan-African platform serving startups, entrepreneurs, and SMEs with vital business insights, resources, and ecosystem access. This practical internship is ideal for a serving corps member passionate about digital communications, community building, and content marketing within the African business landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of social media strategies and campaigns across various digital platforms to grow our online presence.
- Draft, schedule, and publish engaging content tailored to entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners.
- Actively monitor online communities, respond to inquiries, and foster meaningful engagement among platform members.
- Assist in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on social media performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.
- Collaborate with the communications team to brainstorm creative content ideas, graphics, and messaging.
- Currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and based in Lagos.
- Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and online community dynamics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Passionate about African startups, SMEs, entrepreneurship, and digital ecosystem growth.
